Software, built with the same care as my own apps.

I am an independent software developer in Unterhaching, near Munich — a Mac, iOS and iPad developer, available for projects. Most of my work is native macOS and iOS: considered, privacy-minded, and shipped end to end. If you have seen the apps on this site, that is the level of finish I bring to client work.

Native macOS & iOS apps

SwiftUI and AppKit, built to feel at home on the platform — not a cross-platform shell. From a single-purpose menu-bar tool to a full document app.

On-device and privacy-first

I default to running things locally — on-device models, no cloud round-trips, no tracking. If data does not have to leave the machine, it does not.

From idea to the App Store

Concept, design, build, localisation, notarisation and release — including the unglamorous parts: entitlements, sandboxing, review, updates.

3D and graphics

Metal rendering, Gaussian splatting and real-time 3D — the area I keep coming back to (RadianceKit, RadianceView, Unreal Engine demos).

A second pair of hands

Code review, a tricky Swift 6 concurrency problem, a performance bottleneck, or picking up an existing project — not every engagement has to be a whole app.

How it works

Small, direct, one person

It is a one-person studio, so you talk to the person actually building the thing — no account managers, no hand-offs. We scope the work together, I keep you in the loop as it takes shape, and you get something that works rather than a demo that almost does. Fixed scope or an ongoing arrangement both work.

I work as a freelancer under German tax law (§18 EStG, software development); invoices show VAT. Remote by default, in and around Munich in person when it helps.
