RadianceCap
Capture sensor-rich 3D scenes for RadianceKit
RadianceCap is the iPhone capture app for sensor-rich 3D scenes. It stores the known camera pose, the optics and LiDAR depth with every photo — a solid basis for processing into Gaussian splats in RadianceKit on the Mac.
Free. A LiDAR-capable iPhone with iOS 17 or later is required.

What it does
Capture, check, hand off
Guided capture
Single shots or automatic capture by time and motion, with a live view of the camera path and photo-backed LiDAR surfaces. Profiles for detail, rooms and larger subjects.
Understand the quality
Warnings on clearly blurry frames, exposure help and transparent capture statistics. A red mark flags frames that are safely stored but excluded from training.
Manage your scenes
Review, name, annotate and share captures; include or exclude frames before training; transfer over AirDrop, Share or Files, with optional sync through your own private iCloud.
Apple Watch control
Optional Watch control for start, pause and feedback — sound, haptics or display-only.
Private from the ground up
New scenes stay on the iPhone. No account, no ads, no tracking; iCloud is used only after you explicitly allow it.
Where it fits
The capture end of the splatting workflow
RadianceCap is where a scene begins. It feeds RadianceKit, which trains the Gaussian splats on the Mac; RadianceView is where you open, clean up and export them. Background on the technology is in the primer over on the blog.
