Showroom Test
A real-time 3D showcase — an unreleased 2021 prototype
Showroom Test was a demo: several very different 3D scenes in one app — a city apartment, a Mediterranean hotel, a sports car — built with the Unreal Engine to show what real-time 3D can do. You pick a scene from a menu and move around it freely. It was made for iPad and the Mac.
A prototype from 2021 — it was never submitted to the App Store.

What it did
A range of what’s possible
Several 3D scenes
A handful of very different spaces in one app — a city apartment, a Mediterranean hotel, a sports car — each a self-contained demo.
Real-time, on the Unreal Engine
Built with the Unreal Engine and rendered in real time, so every scene can be moved around and looked at from any angle.
Pick a scene from the menu
A simple menu jumps straight into each demo — the point was to show range, not to ship one finished product.
Made for iPad and the Mac
A showcase you could hand someone on an iPad or run full-screen on the Mac.
Background
A demo of what 3D could do
Like the Kunsthandel gallery, this started as a demo of what the Unreal Engine makes possible — here as a small catalogue of scenes rather than a single space. It stayed a prototype and never shipped. Curious about a 3D or interactive project? Get in touch.
