igersmunich
The very first app I shipped — for the Instagramers Munich community
igersmunich was the first app I ever released, back in July 2016, when I was finding my feet on iOS. A small, free iPhone companion for the Instagramers Munich photo community — the Instagram crowd in and around Munich — it brought their latest posts, photo-walk meet-ups (instameets) and news straight to the phone.
Nothing fancy under the hood — a focused, web-backed app wrapped around the community's own feed. But it did its one job well, and it is where everything started.
What it did
A pocket for the community
Community feed
The latest @igersmunich posts from Instagram, right on the home screen.
Instameets and news
Announcements for the community photo walks around Munich, plus blog updates.
Free and simple
A small, free companion app — open it, stay in the loop, done.

Today
Where it stands
igersmunich is no longer on the App Store — the community has long since moved on. I keep it here as the starting point: proof that I have been shipping native iOS apps since 2016, one careful release at a time.
